Day 93/366
This little moth was having a rest on our window. It was a bit tricky to take this photo with my little Nikon Coolpix camera, but luckily the moth was co operative and stayed still for a long time. Don't the markings on the underside of the wings look like angry eyes? A very effective way of scaring off predators!

Beautiful and scary all at once. A beautifully outlined moth with a lovely soft background. Love this photo.
ReplyDeleteI really like your capture of this fellow Helen!
ReplyDeleteHis 'eyes' are amazing, but I also like all of your background framing him.
